NWC EXPORTER
INSTALLER
Install Autodesk's official Navisworks NWC exporters into every Revit version on a machine — one click, no Navisworks seat. Hand the BIM team coordination-ready .nwc files from any box on the job.

NWC export missing in Revit?
You're not crazy and Revit isn't broken. Autodesk ships the Navisworks exporter separately from Revit — it's a free add-in, but it's not in the box.
Until the version-matched exporter is installed, File → Export has no NWC option — and every coordination handoff dies right there. The model's done, the clash run is waiting, and the file can't leave Revit.
The manual fix is hunting version-matched installers on Autodesk's site, one per Revit release on the box. Three Revit versions installed means three separate downloads to find, run, and verify.
This installer does it in one run:
- Detects every installed Revit version (2024, 2025, 2026, …) and flags which are missing the exporter
- Lists every exporter Autodesk publishes — 2018 through 2027 — and lets you pick which to install
- Downloads each official installer straight from Autodesk (~0.7 GB each, only when you Install or Repair)
- Runs each installer silently, then verifies Revit can export NWC
Detect. Select. Install. Verify.
The whole machine, set up in one pass — this is the sequence the installer runs.
From missing to verified in one run.
No digging through Autodesk's download pages, no guessing which exporter matches which Revit release.
Download & run
Grab the installer, double-click, accept the admin prompt. The exporters install machine-wide, so elevation is expected.
Review AVAILABLE EXPORTERS
Every exporter from 2018 to 2027, each with its status: already installed, no Revit on this PC, or an older installer found.
Select detected
One click checks every Revit version on the machine that's missing its exporter. Or pick versions by hand.

INSTALL
Each official installer downloads straight from Autodesk (~0.7 GB each) and runs silently. No clicking through wizards.
Verify in Revit
The installer confirms each Revit version can export NWC. Open Revit — File → Export now has the NWC option.
Later: Repair or Uninstall
Repair does a clean re-download from Autodesk. Uninstall is instant — no download. Both from the same window.
Because the exporter already is.
The NWC exporter is free from Autodesk. We didn't build the exporter — we made installing it across every Revit version painless, because we got tired of doing it by hand on every coordination job. It's our way of giving the AEC community a hand.
No Fulcrum account, no trial clock, no upsell wall between you and a working File → Export.
For construction. By construction.
Questions, answered.
Why is NWC export missing from Revit?
Autodesk ships the Navisworks NWC exporter as a separate download — it isn't bundled with Revit. Until the version-matched exporter is installed, File → Export shows no NWC option. This installer detects which of your Revit versions are missing it and installs Autodesk's official exporter for each one.
Which Revit versions are supported?
Every exporter Autodesk publishes — Navisworks exporters 2018 through 2027. The installer detects each installed Revit version (2024, 2025, 2026, …) and matches it to the right exporter.
Do I need Navisworks installed?
No — that's the point. The exporter adds NWC export directly to Revit, so you can hand coordination-ready .nwc files to the BIM team without a Navisworks seat on the machine.
Is this really free?
Yes. No Fulcrum account, no trial, no card. The download page may ask for an email. The exporters themselves are Autodesk's free downloads.
Is this Autodesk software?
The exporters are. The installer downloads and runs Autodesk's official, freely distributed exporter installers straight from Autodesk — nothing is redistributed. The detection, selection, silent install, and verification around them are ours.
SmartScreen warned me about the download.
Expected for now — the build is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may flag the first run. Choose More info → Run anyway. The admin prompt is also expected: the exporters install machine-wide.
Put NWC export back in Revit.
One run sets up the whole machine — every Revit version, Autodesk's official exporters, verified working.
