Minimal data. Plainly explained.
Effective May 28, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains what Fulcrum VDC, LLC ("Fulcrum VDC," "we," "us") collects when you use the Fulcrum Hub website (hub.fulcrumvdc.com), this marketing site, and our desktop applications (together, the "Services"). We take a minimal-data approach: we collect only what we need to run your account, license our software, bill correctly, and keep the Services reliable.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, a securely hashed password, your company/account name, and your role within that account.
- Usage data — per product, the number of sheets processed and labels generated, with timestamps, used for billing, support, and product analytics.
- Device information — for software licensing, a device identifier (fingerprint), operating system, and machine name of the computers where you install our desktop apps.
- Billing information — your subscription/plan state and a Stripe customer reference. Payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Download information — when you download an application, we record the date/time, IP address, approximate geographic region (derived from the IP), browser/user-agent, and, if you are signed in, the associated account. For some free tools we ask for your email address before the download so we can deliver the file and notify you of important updates or fixes; that email is stored with the download record. We do not add it to a marketing mailing list, and signed-in users are not asked for it.
- Support communications — messages you send us (e.g., contact or support requests) and any details you include.
- Operational logs — standard server logs, timestamps, IP addresses, and error traces used for reliability, security, and debugging.
What stays on your machine
Files you process with our desktop tools — PDFs, manifests, QR sheets, and similar documents — are processed locally on the computer running the software. Their contents are not uploaded to Fulcrum VDC as part of normal operation. We receive only the counts (sheets and labels) needed to bill and to power usage stats, never the document contents.
How we use information

Service providers
We share data with a small set of providers strictly to operate the Services:
- Stripe — payment processing and billing.
- Cloudflare — hosting and DNS for our public website.
- Fly.io — hosting for the Fulcrum Hub backend.
- Postmark — transactional email (account, support, billing notices).
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- ip-api.com — approximate geographic lookup of IP addresses for download analytics.
- Metricool — aggregate website analytics (visitors in North America only).
- Google Analytics — aggregate website analytics (visitors in North America only).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Cookies
On the Fulcrum Hub we use first-party cookies for sign-in (your session), security (CSRF protection), and remembering the email you enter to download a tool. On our public website, visitors in North America (the United States, Canada, and Mexico) are measured with Metricool and Google Analytics, third-party analytics services that may set their own cookies; visitors elsewhere are not tracked. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
Data retention
We keep account, usage, billing, and download records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. You may request deletion as described below; some records may be retained where required by law.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access to production data is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your account data, or ask us to deactivate or delete your account, at any time. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Services evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notice.
